Sturgeon Bay Municipal Center

Functionality being key to a Municipal Center, Somerville designed the new facility for the City of Sturgeon Bay with that criteria as the primary basis. Multiple options of design and layout were presented to the Building Committee eventually leading the committee to consensus. Somerville also guided the city through the lengthy public approval process resulting in a successful Council vote to proceed with the project. The two-story Municipal Center was constructed of exterior precast insulated wall panels with brick inserts to accommodate construction timeline constraints and resulting in lower cost.
