Somerville, Inc. was founded in 1946 to deliver professional Architectural/Engineering (A/E) services and a quality customer experience. Success was met early on by Somerville’s dedicated team with the completion of numerous commercial and industrial projects. Word of their success quickly spread throughout NE Wisconsin, expanding Somerville’s base to include health care, education, corporate and government projects.

Today, our team has a tradition of building beautiful facilities that are landmarks to their communities, the most notable being the original Lambeau Field and its renovation. Performing an important role in the growth of many of the Midwest’s largest and most recognizable companies, Somerville’s service base grew early on to fulfill the demands of diverse projects. By the 1960s, Somerville became recognized as an innovative multiple-services firm. With architects, engineers, and other specialists working side by side, the firm was well on its way to becoming the fully integrated services provider it is today.

In the years that followed, Somerville embraced advances in CAD system technology and database research, forwarding its capacity to service customers. Maintaining a progressive posture, Somerville’s team became one of the first employee-owned A/E firms in the Midwest. Today, Somerville continues its legacy with the same basic conviction and approach as when it was founded - to embrace changes in technology and to satisfy the needs of our clients.
